What does the LGBTQIA+ mean?
Lesbian (L)
Woman who is sexually and/or emotionally attracted to other women.
Gay (G)
Man who is sexually and/or emotionally attracted to other men.
Bisexual (B)
Someone who is sexually and/or emotionally attracted to more than one gender.
Transgender (T)
Any person who has a gender identity that is different from the gender that they were assigned at birth.
Questioning (Q)
Refers to someone who is not sure how they identify.
Intersex (I)
People naturally have biological traits, such as hormonal levels or genitalia, that do not match what is typically identified as male or female.
Asexual (A)
A person who has a lack of sexual attraction to others, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity.
Pansexual (+)
A person who is sexually, romantically, and/or emotionally attracted to people regardless of their sex or gender identity.
Demisexual (+)
Someone who feels sexual attraction to someone only once they’ve emotionally bonded.
Nonbinary (+)
People whose gender is not male or female.
