Welcome to Christopher Street! We’re a group of people who want to live together in a peaceful community where we will not be judged by our neighbors. Come and meet some great people. We’re the friendliest LGBTQ+ community in SL. We are a residential and business adult community, located on SL moderate mainland (this means no sex in public please). We are not a sex sim. We are not an RP community, but if you wish to, please be respectful of those who do not.
Like the original Christopher Street in New York City’s Greenwich Village, we are set in a mixed urban environment, with many residences above stores. You will find housing from single room tenements to new construction multi floor brownstones. There is currently NO CHARGE (donations are very welcome though) for residency and no plans to change this in the foreseeable future. With this in mind please do not be a prim whore and only use what you need (less than 150 LI). Also please don’t ask for a 4 story brownstone for one person; ask only what you really need and be considerate of your fellow tenants. There is no security at all. If you need to hide your adult activities, please do it elsewhere. There are plenty of sex sims in SL for “questionable activities”. What you do in your residence is as private as you wish it to be. That means, inside you can do what any adult wants to do in private. Please do not peek into your neighbors windows (they might just message you and ask if you want to join in anyway :)) We are not an adult sim so we ask that all sexual activities be performed indoors. This will protect us and you from any TOS issues. Any issues or violations or questionable activities should be brought to the attention of a Council Member or Concierge.
If you wish to join us here at Christopher Street, please fill out a Housing Application Form and a Concierge will get back to you ASAP. Sometimes this can be immediately, sometimes it may take a day or two, depending on how busy we are and how many volunteers are available.
