Turing Centers

Turing Centers is the group to become a part of for men (gay, bi, and LGBT friendly) who crave developing friendships in a casual but fun-filled atmosphere. Be sure to join the group by copying the text above into Nearby Chat and clicking on the link to join. Or find a group joiner nearby.

You must be at least 18 years old to visit any of the centers, and present as an adult of at least 18 years of age. Although everyone is welcome, please understand the group is designed with the gay/bi male in mind.

Adventures of all sorts SL-wide will be explored by the group. Whether you want to ski the slopes of Chamonix, ride the waves, sail the seas, take a jet across the continents (or more scary still, paramotor around SL), do weekly multi-modal tours of SL, hike, bike, camp, or do some fun adventures at Mad Pea, you’ll find like-minded men in the Turing Centers group.

We’ll join some organized events planned by other groups (why reinvent the wheel!) as well as have scheduled adventures of our own.

But don’t let scheduling stop you from having fun and adventure! Members are encouraged to get onto group chat and get together for fun times at any time of course!

The Turing Centers themselves feature fun activities to get to know people. Voice chat is encouraged for those who can, but please be respectful of those who can’t or won’t voice, and be sure to include them in conversations.

As much furniture as possible will be MyStory enabled for members who also do the MyStory experience. MyStory cooking tablets and a food vendor tablet are located in the game room. Gym bathrooms are INM and MyStory equipped.

Please keep Turing going both socially and financial with your participation in activities and financial support if you can afford it. Please look for the Tip-O-Meters and donate generously and often to keep Turing going!

ALL CENTERS ARE REACHABLE BY TELEVATOR (or TP doorway)!!! Simply click the televator button (or door), choose where you want to go, and (often) click in the center of the elevator once it opens)

TURING CAFÉ AND GAME CENTER (with planned art exhibits)
This is your entry point to the rest of Turing.
Game Center faces the open air plaza which includes the cafe, food stalls, and picnic tables to enjoy meals and drinks with friends
In front of the Game Center (street side) you’ll find a bike rack to rez bikes for exploring around the continent of Zindra.
Inside the Game Center, we have:

• Games by K.R. Engineering, TBF, Brock Games, Xplicit, Devinz Desinz, and Cards Against Humanity, Truthball
• Snacks, coffee, and soda
• Playable pool table
• Playable air hockey

TURING MULTI-PURPOSE CENTER
Located next to the Turing Cafe and Game Center.
Open air plaza with:

• Volleyball
• Lounging pool with massage tables
• Additional picnic tables
• Yoga mats for your early morning stretches
• Bumper cars
• Bike rack to rez bikes for exploring around the continent of Zindra by the pool
• Hot air balloon rezzer to explore the continent of Zindra leisurely by air
• TBF Chess
  In the Multi-purpose center:
• Fully equipped gym with bathroom, shower and hot tub downstairs
• Mini-cinema equipped with Kosmi TV seating up to 28 people
• Library / reading room
• Classroom

TURING LASERTAG
Reachable by Televator.
Play “Capture The Flag” in this dark multi-level lasertag arena. All instructions and equipment included.

TURING PAINTBALL
Reachable by Televator.
Get down and dirty pelting your friends!

CLUB TURING
Exploring new ways to bring you music and entertainment. Watch for events and concerts at the club.

Also teleports to Rainbow Sails and Ho Mo Docks for sailing.
